Paperwork check


Whichever path you take with Bright Futures, a paperwork check is always the first step. It's important for us to get to know your case inside out, so that we are in the best possible position to help you. During the paperwork check, we will read through every single document associated with your case. We may also contact professionals involved to obtain further supporting information. 


EHCP Health Check

For a more detailed look over your EHCP, Bright Futures can conduct a thorough "health check". This involves a critical eye over every single detail, and the production of a report, which can be sent to the local authority.

Registering an Appeal

If you're not happy with an EHCP that has been issued, you have 2 months to register an appeal. Bright Futures can write the Reasons for Appeal document, and register the appeal for you. 

Case Management

Bright Futures can collate all of the information that you need to go to tribunal, whilst also acting as a contact point for professionals and the local authority. Case management services last for the 12 weeks between registering your appeal and the date of the tribunal hearing.

Local Authority Meeting

It can be extremely beneficial to have a formal meeting with the local authority ahead of the tribunal hearing date, to try to resolve issues amicably. Bright Futures can arrange this meeting, host it at the Bright Futures offices, and can either attend with you, or on your behalf.

Tribunal Hearing Coaching Sessions

This is a bespoke service offered to families. The coaching is completely tailored to your case.
